RealZoom generates a somewhat realistic zoomed (close-up) image of the original image as if you are taking a close look at LCD, CRT, or paper with a magnifying glass.

  • Available zoom types: RGB stripes, RGB dots, LCD, Trinitron (Aperture Grille), Shadow Mask, Video (interlace), Black Print, and Color Print (CMYK).
  • Load image files in .tiff, .pdf, .pict, .gif, .jpg, .png, and .icns.
  • Save zoomed images as TIFF bitmap image files.
  • Drag and drop an image file to the image view.
  • Open Recent image files.
  • AppleScript scripting.

I hope this is a useful image utility for graphic designers, graphic artists, and for anyone to help understand how images are reproduced on LCD, CRT, or paper.

RealZoom generates a TIFF bitmap image while RealZoom Quartz generates a vector-based PDF file.

Instructions: Please refer to the manual in the disk image.
